Ground rules
  • 18+ forum only
  • Be nice
  • No slurs
  • Racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, anti-semitism, etc. will not be tolerated

NSFW
  • NSFW is not allowed.
This includes non-explict images with the purpose of provoking lust, or trying to test where the limit of this rule is
  • Text information that's way too graphic or way too informative counts as such. Occasional figurative foul language and moderately dirty jokes are allowed as long as it's just that and not you shoehorning your lust onto your posts or just being inconvenient
  • Sharing a particular work via an external link accompanied by a warning is allowed, as long as there's something meaningful to it other than just being adult content. It must not glorify taboo topics. Porn sharing threads such as doujin sharing or H-game sharing are not allowed.

AI
  • AI generated art, photos, memes, music, voice-overs and text are not allowed.
If you suspect something is AI, consider reporting the post and letting the staff handle instead of causing a public discussion if it was an accident. Also remember that AI detectors are prone to hallucination like any other use of AI.
  • We aren't as restrictive with AI code, but consider using disclaimers, we still want to value human effort.
Projects beyond simple scripts that were coded in the purest sense of vibe-coding don't belong here.
  • There are cases when a content creator makes a minor use of AI in a otherwise non-AI content, like an AI illustration shown for a few seconds inside a large video, or a streamer using TTS. We aren't going to be as strict when sharing content from such creators, but please don't push it.

Piracy
  • Piracy is not allowed, this includes sharing roms and pre-patched roms.
(Obscure computer abandonware may get exempt from this)
  • That being said: this forum fully recognizes piracy as a means of accessibility regardless of generation, so don't shame others for pirating. As such, anti-piracy vs pro-piracy discussions don't belong here.

Politics
  • This is not a black and white rule but real world events are best left out of here, as this is meant to be light-hearted place to get away from those problems.
  • We may restrict any kind of controversial topic.
  • Social issues around representation in games and other media can be discussed to an extent but we might limit discussions that could get too heated. Keep in mind this isn't an activist or venting forum.
  • Destructive mentalities, including "anti-sjw" or "anti-woke" adjacent views, are not welcome here.

Drama
  • Don't bring external drama, this includes ranting about other communities or bringing drama about a specific person or celebrity
  • Don't provoke internal drama. Don't resort to throwing jabs at this community or the members for no good reason, this is asking to get moderated
  • Please don't start fights out of nowhere if there's someone in the forum you got a serious problem with, contact the staff instead.

Socialization
Basically, be nice. Not unconditionally nice, but nice whenever possible. We want a kind and safe space.
Respect boundaries and use content warnings when necessary.

But to be more specific, don't follow these patterns:

  • Making a discussion out of everything and obsessing in being right in them
  • Resorting to an aggressive tone in discussions to boost your ego
  • Treating canon as a holy bible
  • Larping as a persona or being obsessed with a character to a questionable level
  • Excessively ranting about a company or making that same DMCA comment we heard a thousand times before
  • Excessive venting, ranting, self-deprecation or trauma dumping
  • Using people to satiate lust or emotional instability
  • Excessive focus on self-promotion or one-dimensional posting
  • Spammish behavior, this includes liking every post you come across
  • Pushing boundaries with jokes, including with edgy jokes or jokes you are making on another member, especially if it's someone you don't know
  • Forcing intimacy or assuming everyone is an open book
  • Glorifying degeneracy
  • Teasing the rules of this forum or what they're trying to achieve. When in doubt we will resort to enforcing them

This forum follows the premise that we will restrict or ban certain content or users as a means to keep this environment organic, healthy and safe. Events outside this forum can be taken under consideration.
Feedback is welcome, but please be nice about it!

We hope you have fun!
